Netra has a Master of Social Work Studies from James cook University. He brings to ACSS extensive skills as a community development worker. Some of his long-term projects aim at addressing issues around spiritual homelessness and social and emotional well-being within new migrants’ communities in the Cairns region. He strongly believes in using the strength, resilience and capacities of people to better support them. 

His values align closely to those of the social work profession: individuals are central to all decisions regarding their care to ensure they exercise choice and control over their personal outcomes, their rights are protected, and they are treated with dignity and respect.

                  Finance Manager

Krishna has been working with Australian Community Support Services since 2018. Born in Bhutan, he has lived in Australia since 2010. Krishna brought a lot of experience with him from previous walks of life in different sectors. Since then he has used all his energy to help and improve other people’s lives. He is currently studying social work degree and working as a Coordinator within our team and his compassion for the cause has put smiles back on many people's faces.

                Business Development &

           Human Resource  Manager   

Subash is our Business Development and Human Resource Manager. He also handles Human Resources for us. He has done his Masters of Business Administration and Information Technology from James Cook University QLD. He has worked in Multi-National Companies as a team member and a team lead. He has experience of managing teams and various community projects. He has worked as a coordinator and Office Manager for Family day Care for over 3 years. He has a keen interest in Community work and helping people. It is this interest that made him join our team. He loves attending various courses and seminars to better understand and advocate about disability and community. Subash believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success - a tenet he lives out through his interests in biking, cooking, networking and exploring places. 

                Clinical Manager &  

                         Registered Nurse

Saru is a Registered Nurse at Queensland Health. She is currently doing her master’s degree. She loves to care for and help people during their weakest moments. She has experience working in aged care, private and public hospitals and the disability sector. She has also worked as a teacher of nursing students. She is kind, hardworking and passionate about achieving her dreams. 

               Service Delivery Manager & 

                         Registered Nurse

Celestin is our Mental Health Nurse and has Masters of Neuroscience and Postgrad Diploma in Mental Health.  Has been working in Health and also in the Disability service industry for several years. He is a versatile, focused, and motivated individual whose vision of success is to rise above the competition in every way to ensure all planned goals are achieved.
